Your reaction meant a new post with more prizes and fun.

Okay all, time to rally the “style TROOPS”.   It’s crunch time and as we move ahead and we all talk about  more MATTHEW MEAD BRANDED  projects we’ve got to let the publishers know that you are abundantly interested in the ones I already have out.  I have got to distinguish myself from the others.  ( I was at the bookstore on Thursday, and it is filled with beautiful new books so only you can help me compete.) ENTERTAINING SIMPLE hit bookstores just last week and I’m looking to spread the word and also give away some books to help spread the word and show my immense appreciation for your interest in my titles.

Linda, my dear friend at RESTYLED HOME BLOG has agreed to host another contest … go to her site and see all the details and catch a glimpse of what you can win… http://restyledhome.blogspot.com/. We have thrown in a little special something from one of my very favorite stores,  HOMEGOODS which is always a source when I set out to style for a book or magazine photo shoot.

http://www.homegoods.com/http://www.homegoods.com/index.asp Check out their amazing site, their great bloggers … and of course, their tabletop section in their stores.
Anyway, my new book is all about creating a pantry of entertaining items (dishes, serving pieces, cake stands, and glasses all in white and glass),  with great ways to display your collection and multiple ways to use each piece and personalize your place settings for all kinds of parties. The back of the book shows all of the parties you can throw with very little prep,  and with simple and delicious recipes and ideas for serving everything.
Here are just a few of the ideas featured in a party called, FAMILY FUSION which is an updated Sunday dinner and is so easy to prepare.  Your family and friends will love to visit with the aroma of this fragrant meal wafting in the air and will absolutely adore you for sharing such a tasty feast with them.
BONUS IDEA
Here are a couple of gifts I created using some beautiful and inexpensive new white dishes from HOMEGOODS.  On the left, is a great salad bowl I picked up for my WEGMAN’S food shoot.  I simply placed a book inside and tied with ribbon (it is a perfect gift  for a housewarming, bridal shower, wedding, or holiday hostess presentation).  On the right, I found this amazing  porcelain tray which is great for not only  toting ingredients from fridge to table but also serving everything from appetizers to drinks in style.  I layered it with a book and tied crosswise with ribbon and voila, a simple and affordable gift that will get the recipient on the road to “entertaining simple”.
Please, check out Linda’s site, enter the contest, and learn all the ways you can entertain in a snap matthewmeadstyle.com, Homegoods, and my excellent new book ENTERTAINING SIMPLE.
COME AND SEE ME THIS WEEK FROM 1-3PM AT THE SALEM, NEW HAMPSHIRE, ROCKINGHAM MALL at WILLIAMS-SONOMA.  There will be lots of great and simple ideas for all of your holiday entertaining and you’ll get to try my pumpkin trifle.
