I never knew the the demands of having a new book released… but I do now.
Its been non-stop for me since mid-August. Lots of television and radio, travel and trying to juggle what I do every day for my job. Its definately an experience of a lifetime, but also a good time to reconnect with home and family and the things that make life important. I have met so many talented and inspiring people and have been touched by the thoughtfulness of so many readers and bloggers… (you know who you are (Linda@restyledhome and all of her devotees. You all keep it real and that inspires me to no end)).
I’m in my studio wrapping up 2008 until December 19th and then a week long break to engage the season for real. I’m keeping commercial gift giving to a minimum this year and focusing (big suprise) on entertaining and gathering friends and family. I’m looking for one of those magical evenings with snow, twinkle lights, the music of the season, a theater experinece and wondeful food (you know, when the house glows with candlelight and cinnamon fills the air and the presents are “placed by the tree with oddles of care”.
Check ou these pretty holiday cards you can download from my site to send as greetings or attatch to gifts.
Here are some special gift tags you can make from our images.
Here is a pretty collage page of all the different collectible items we talk about on the site… fun things to look for on your next flea market foray.
Check out Linda’s review of my site on her blog http://www.restyledhome.blogspot.com/ THANKS LINDA!
