The early new year has brought some doom and gloom and I am smudging away the evil spirits from my blog, my website, my studio and my life.
ITS TRUE! My beloved COUNTRY HOME has come to an end. Twelve wonderful years of creativity, building my brand and meeting such wonderful decorators, entertainers, artists and readers. I will miss it beyond words. But new oppurtunities await… thrilling ones. The phone and e-box are filled with wonderful new contacts and great ideas and I look forward to all the new ways that I can grow my easy ideas and fun work in this everchanging economy. LOOK OUT in 2009 because you will see MATTHEW MEAD STYLE in a bigger and fresher way.

Oh, I can’t tell you how sad I am about COUNTRY HOME. I have been a subscriber for years, and due to space restrictions, have only saved a few. I am glad to see there are new things on the horizon for you, Matthew. Happy New Year.

I was so sad to learn of the demise of Country Home - it was a truly wonderful magazine. I am sure it must be a sad time for you after 12 years. I have no doubt, however, that you will be making some wonderful, beautiful and original lemonade out of this stinking bowl of lemons though. Good luck and I cannot wait to see all your new ideas.

I am sad about the end of Country Home, but excited about the window that it has unwittingly opened for you enabling you to spread your wings even further.

So sad to hear about Country Home! I know it has brought you many fans including myself. I have a hunch that you are going to have an incredible 2009 and many new and exciting things are going to come out from Matthew Mead Designs. I am a huge fan and look forward to what comes next. You are super talented and I just love ya!
