We are hard at work on summer… and it TASTES really good.

Yes, its summer time at the studio and along with burgers, salads and ice box pies we’ve also been arranging flowers and creating amazing shabby chic paper crafts that are perfect for both parties and weddings.  Its snowing outside today and there has been a lot of snow already this year.  Is it hard to focus on summer time?  Not really because it is such a pleasant distraction from raking the roof and shoveling the walk way.  The summer site  we will share some easy and delicious no-bake pies and a wide selection of frozen fruit smoothies that can be dressed up with alcohol for a party or “fiber-ized” with flax for an after-work-out treat.

My assistant, Lisa B. mixed up these fresh berry drinks.  I picked these stemless wine glasses, placed them on the set and framed up the shot.  My wife, Jenny sits at the computer and manipulates the camera until we get the image that we want.  This photo went through several variations including some single shots of the glass on the left.  I topped the drinks with frozen blueberries.  These smoothies are filled with fiber, antioxidents and healthful soy milk… YUM!  WRITE ME WITH YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR PROCESS AND HOW OUR STUDIO OPERATES.  Oh, does this drink look good to you?

Yes, it looks wonderful. Summer is berries and melons–at least in the fruit catagory.

ok, so how many people are in your studio? What does each one do and how are ideas generated and refined? Do you try to have the same elments around each theme–like recipes, crafts, decorating?

Do some things just not work?

Yumm…I have a sore throat and am parched, so I can almost taste this frothy drink! If only my blender wouldn’t wake everyone up!!

I would love to see photos of a photo shoot, the art of the styling process, the kitchen you use to concoct these great recipes…

I imagine your studio to be a vast space, with shelves stocked with props, and a great kitchen. Am I right?

Hi. Real solid info on Maqui Berry. I encountered your nice blog while researching yahoo. For the preceding few days I’ve been seeking to find more. Especially anything to do with the dieting babble. I’ve witnessed it all and my sister proceeds advertising her recent weight loss fad on me. So I’m happy I discovered you. All the best!
