Economic Recovery comes to Matthew Mead’s Studio
It has been bleak since Country Home closed, but lots of new projects and work has come in and just in the nick of time: We are now contributing to Better Homes and Gardens… look for our debut in the June issue. See my name and our story on blue and white transferware in the current issue of Victoria… buy lots of issues and let them know you want to see more Matthew Mead contributions in the future. See our stories soon in DO IT YOURSELF from Better Homes… its a beautiful magazine edited by my editor formerly at Country Home (Beth Eslinger) and it is filled with great stuff you can do yourself. We are also working on our special Halloween issue and it is even better and more fun then last year. Have a happy spring and I will be back at the keyboard soon.
Check out these beautiful pansies I found at our local farmstand. The vases are old glass cold cream jars from Avon… I think their shape and color are the perfect foil for these uplifiting blossoms.

Love this color combination Matthew, and I never would have thought of it myself. Your story in Victoria Magazine on blue and white is GORGEOUS and I love seeing your name right on the cover. Go Matthew!

Matthew, glad to see you back at work, not to say you haven’t been working behind the scenes, but seeing you in magazines again is wonderful! We’ve missed your great style and beautiful workings. I will be sure to send both of those magazines a note to let them know how we appreciate them and you. Great news!
Lanette
PS Glad to see you posting here again, too!
