Coming to a news stand near you… and you won’t believe how AMAZING it will be.
I’ve spoken to thousands of you the last few months… longing and waiting for something to supplement the loss of Country Home and so many of the other great home and lifestyle magazines that have vanished from the shelves. Well, the wait will be over very soon. I’ve teamed up with Ki Nassauer of Junk Revolution and Junk Bonanza fame to bring you a brand new FLEA MARKET STYLE magazine filled with fresh ideas, projects, makeovers, before and after transformations as well as a round up of amazing decorating tips, flea marketing trips, insider styling tricks and everything else you could ever dream of in a home decorating magazine. We’ve asked stellar experts to contribute, like Linda MacDonald of the inspiring and very popular Restyled Home blog, Heather Bullard who’s beautiful style ideas and engaging photographs attract so many to her web site. My favorite writer Sarah Egge who recently helped me write my latest Halloween magazine (in stores mid-August) and has written so many of my Holiday special issues. As well as a rich and diverse group of creative people who will share their collections and homes in this unparalleled volume of ideas.
WE ARE EXCITED TO SAY THE LEAST. This new opportunity allows us an amazing platform to continue to share fun projects, interesting collections and our experience and expertise in creating home decor from flea market finds. This issue will be FRESH and DIFFERENT and the reason is that “we are in charge”. It is TRUE. Ki and I are at the helm of the entire project… sharing our vision for engaging “how-to”, amazing color combinations, our take on what to collect and the best place to collect it. The art direction is ours as well… so finally you will see our vision, our ideas, and perhaps the most lush, full page, full color magazine ever. The icing is all the easy to achieve projects in one 144 page volume. I CAN’T WAIT.
Linda will have her own great contribution and we will be launching (mid August) a behind the scenes blog which will share the “ins and outs”, “ups and downs” and “pure fun” of what goes in to the making of the magazine. We look for you to share all of your inspirations and ideas as we bring you the best magazine possible.

I just wanted to say Congratulations!!! I am so excited about this new magazine, I squealed when I read the news on Ki’s blog this morning!!! I love both your style and Ki’s, and love that you’re both always “ahead of the trend”, with fresh ideas and projects that truly inspire! I can’t wait to read more about it on the blog, and I hope that you’ll have the magazine come out at least 6+ times a year (not sure what your ideas are…). I’ll be first in line for a subscription!

There is just TRULY nothing like holding a crisp, fresh magazine in your hands and taking it outside, to your favorite chair, or to work with you! I have been a huge fan of your work for years! I am a story producer and stylist in Vancouver BC Canada, and have spents countless hours admiring your work in Country Home magazine. I was so sad to see them go, but am thrilled to hear about the new publication you have started. I can’t wait to see it so I can be inspired by you again. От души желаю автору успешного развития блога. Почитал-посмотрел, очень всё понравилось. Побольше бы таких ресурсов в сети и не пришлось бы перебирать тонны никчёмных сайтов, а порой и с вирусами что бы найти нужную информацию. Удачи, бро

I was so excited to hear about your new magazine “Flea Market Style”, I have been waiting all month for it to hit the stands and I’ll admit I kept checking in case someone put it up early. I had thought I’d read it would be out yesterday the 18th and much like my kids when they go to the toy store, my feet hit the pavement running when I pulled into the Chapters parking lot … and again today? Talk about disappointed when it wasn’t there yet. Now I see it will come out on the 23rd, the anticipation builds again.
Finally an entire magazine dedicated to my passion! My favorite mornings are spent either at garage sales, a flea market or an auction. I live for the treasures found that need work to give them a new lease on life.
My grandmother got me hooked on garage sales shopping for my first apartment and my Dad’s love of antiques and auctions was a gift he passed to me.
I am just finishing up a complete redecorate of my home and I did it entirely with furniture I lovingly collected, painted and reupholstered. So “Flea Market Style” just can’t arrive soon enough.
Thank You for finally dedicating a magazine to this style and way of life. Having you involved I know it will be quality!

I have followed the progress of Flea Market Style since you announced it, and now to my dismay… I can’t find a copy of it anywhere!!
I have checked every store and newstand near me and have not been able to get my hands on a copy. Any ideas for me?!! I haven’t been able to read a single page, savor one of your decor ideas, or enjoy the beauty of Heather’s gorgeous photos. Please tell me you have extra copies somewhere?
Oh, by the way, I met you and your wonderful wife at last fall’s Junk Bonanza…you are truly wonderful and authentic. So glad you and Jenny have each other.
